He was predeceased by: his son Bob. He is survived by: his former wife Joan Rooney; his children, Kathleen (Seth Worley), Eileen, Mary Cummings (Whitley), Matthew (Ingrid), Paul (Ines Gros) and Michael; and his wife Cara Gavin. He is also survived by children, and seventeen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to St. Benedicts Academy in Newark.
