He was predeceased by: his brothers, Edwin and John. He is survived by: his wife Mary O'Brien (Malley); his children, Richard S. O'Brien of Rumson, N. J., Marykate, Brian Vaughn of Cranford, N. J., Tara and Mark Freshwater of Basking Ridge, N. J.; his grandchildren, Owen, Colleen, Conor, Ricky, Julia, Jack, Abby and James; and his brothers, Jim and Kevin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
