It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Edge Jr. (Westfield, New Jersey), born in Linden, New Jersey, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Senior and Rosemary Edge. He is survived by: his children, Amy Edge, Samuel Edge and Jessica Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Ava Marie Edge and Hunter Samuel Edge; his children-in-law, Herbert Rodriguez and Anya DiNitto; his brother-in-law Robert Miller; and his sisters, Rosemary Miller and Cathy Gibson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to American Legion Post 3 in Westfield, 1003 North Ave. W, Westfield, NJ 07090. Donations will benefit homeless veterans.
