He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hobson and Ruth Hobson; his wife Thelma Brown Hobson; and his siblings, Ruth Ganey, Clifford, Clarence "Pete", Lester and Joseph Milton Hobson.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Michele) and Steven Hobson; his grandchildren, Michaela and Jake Hobson; and his sister Nancy Franklin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.
