He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael and Maura. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Michael (Janet) and Susan Doherty (Mark); his grandchildren, Peter Delohery, Mark Doherty (Erin), Andrew Delohery, Maura Delohery, Margaret Delohery and Rose Doherty; and his brother Senan.

The family requests any donations to be made in Peter's memory to Tisch MS Research Center of New York http://www.tischms.org.
