We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2020, at the age of 30, Matthew Shaffer (Westfield, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Albert Jay Shaffer and Jocelyne Holden-Crecca; his stepfather William Crecca; and his brother James Andrew Shaffer (Elizabeth Wilson-Shaffer).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, in memory of David Matthew Shaffer.
