She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Jack Charles. She is survived by: her children, Robert Charles (Kathleen), David Charles of Whippany, NJ, Deborah Charles Dreher (Richard) and Judith Charles Alexander (Andrew). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Katherine Mackey Charles to Beacon Unitarian Universalist Church in Summit, NJ.
