With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph R. Gannon (Westfield, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Towell and William Gannon; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Winters) of Murray Hill, NJ; his children, Joseph and Sherri Lewis (Aaron) of Bath, NC; and his grandchildren, Joseph Gannon Jr. and Delaney Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to "Operation Christmas Child" in care of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church at 147 Bethel Road Warren, New Jersey 07059.
