He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Dooley and Carolyn Dooley; his wife Mary Gurnett Dooley; his children, Mary Sofman (Mark), Sharon Dooley (Doug McKay), Maureen Groff (Richard Rowley), Moira Dooley-Sautner (Stephen), Charles V. (Angela), Joseph F., Jr. (Tina), John L. (Donna) and Michael J. (Paula); his siblings, Dr. Charles Dooley, Vincent Dooley and Carolyn Enderlein; his grandchildren, Carolyn, Charlotte, Peter, Luke, Rae, Vincent, Samantha, Tess, Elinor, Joseph, Maggie, Matt, Hannah, Kerriann, Kathleen, John, Finn, Declan and Calum; and his great grandchildren, Celia, Aurelia and Audrianna. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
