He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pierce and Evelyn Pierce; his mother-in-law Angelina Reeder; and his nephew Bernard McNair, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Pierce; his children, Jonathan Pierce, Jr. (Nicole Jones) and Colleen Pierce (Keith Scott); his grandchildren, Jonathan Pierce, III and Alexandria Pierce; his nephew DaJohn Reeder; his godson Tyler Johnson; his siblings, Billie Pierce, Lamont Pierce (Vashita) and Joanne McNair (Bernard); and his siblings-in-law, Kindra Reeder Wright (Clinton), Deborah Douglas-Wright, Keith Reeder and Pedro Douglas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
