He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Simpson and Christine Simpson; and his sisters, Irene Hayes and Barbara Caprario. He is survived by: his grandchildren, William John Lallis (Liam), Charlotte Catherine Simpson (Charlee) and Katherine Elizabeth Lallis (Kate); his wife Christine Simpson; his daughter Heather Simpson Lallis; his son-in-law Danny Lallis; his son Scot Simpson; his daughter-in-law Allison Simpson; his sister Helen Latella; and his grandchildren, Liam, Kate and Charlee.
