He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogelio Diaz and Consuelo Diaz; his brother Rogelio "Boopie"; his brother-in-law Stanley; his niece Donna; and his nephew Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine (Kevin), Carin (Louis), Christine (Mark) and Thomas (Pam); and his sisters, Mine (Don), Idabelle Diaz and Jeanette. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
