It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jill Watanabe of Westfield, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 65, on September 27, 2020. She is survived by: her children, Narihiko Watanabe (Suzanna Ho) and Marisa Watanabe (Ethan Quanci); her mother Lennie Lateko; her siblings, Jay, Annie Lateko, Jira, Bing Tjoa, Jessa and Tom Chirichella; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Hieu, Hana Lateko, Jason Lateko, Karensa Tjoa, Andrew Tjoa, Patrick Chirichella, Ryan Chirichella and Thomas Chirichella.
The memorial service will open for in-person attendance with social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either of the following: Reformed Church of Highland Park (https: //http://www.rchighlandpark.org) Jill cared deeply for the hungry and spent a lot of time cooking and distributing food to the homeless. In honor of her passion to help feed others, any donations made to RCHP in her name will be utilized to their Global Grace Cafe which helps provide hot food to those in need.
