He is survived by: his wife Bernice R. Goldstein; his sons, Stephen (Jennifer) of Westfield and Matthew of New York City; his sister Marian 'Sissy' Feinman of Boca Raton, FL; and his granddaughters, Sigal and Liza.

Donations in his memory can be given to the Innocence Project or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
