He is survived by: his wife Pauline Doukas Demas (Polly); his children, Gari Demas (Jack Fairweather), John Demas (Suzy Stumo), Beth Demas (Darrick Anderson), Tina Demas (Chris Couch) and Tricia Demas (Jeff Anderson); his grandchildren, Trish Fairweather, Dom Cody, Tabitha Demas, Evan Steiner, Tiffany Demas, Carly Fairweather, Kathryn Anderson, Robert Leonard, Harrison Demas, Christopher Anderson, Charlton Demas, Victoria Anderson, Zoe Anderson, Troy Anderson, Quentin Couch and Calia Couch; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Griffin Cody, Theo, Esme Steiner and Isla Anderson-Leonard; and his sister Neetsa Hatzifthimiou of Kavouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
