He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. Meier and Eleanor Starr Meier; and his former wife Margaret of Washington. He is survived by: his wife Judith Fanelli of Toms River; and his children, Michael Meier of Dallas and Barbara Longstreet of Reno. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
