It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evergista Torres of Westfield, New Jersey, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Almodovar and Felicita Labrador; her husband Lerio; and her son Albert. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Torres Gould (Tom) of Westfield, NJ, David Torres (Melanie) of Millersville, MD, Noel Torres (Carmen) of Huntersville, NC, Marcos Torres (Ana Lilia) of Kissimmee, FL and Joseph Torres (Amy) of Coventry, RI; and her sister Ylda Moreno. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
