With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Mae Kurtz Cassett of Westfield, New Jersey, born in Albion, Michigan, who passed away on July 5, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Lee and Nora Kurtz; her husband Donald Clifton Cassett; and her sisters, Dorothy, Margie, Jonnie Mae, Odessa and Jeanette.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Lenora and Donald Clifton (Donnie); her grandsons, Christopher (Stephanie), Travis (Iniyah) and Jason; and her great grandchildren, Cruz, Anayah, Coby and Caris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Even during times of social distancing, anyone who has suffered a loss deserves love and support more than ever before.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to WAM (Women's Alzheimer's Movement) at the Cleveland Clinic in her memory.
