She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Bell Mann Kelso and Edward Bell Sr.; her brothers, George Bell, William Bell and Edward L. Bell Jr.; and her granddaughter Kayla Russell.

She is survived by: her children, Leslie C. Russell and Louis R. Russell Jr. (Latitisa).
