She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Smith and Harriet Richards Smith. She is survived by: her husband Henry "Harry" Bedinger Rust Brown. She is also survived by her four children, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Betsey was also a former member of 100 Women Strong, a philanthropic organization formed to enhance the community of Loudoun County and the lives of its residents through grant donations.
