He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Thoms and Myrtle Wilhelm Thoms; his wife Evelyn D. Thoms; and his brothers, Donald and Robert Thoms.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Minelli (Anthony); his granddaughter Amanda Ortiz (Hector); his great grandchild Anthony Ortiz; his close friend Betty Chevalier; and his sister-in-law Judy Thoms. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
