It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murugesu Shanmugarajah of West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sulochanadevi Shanmugarajah; his child Shan Prabhahar (New Jersey); his sibling Annaletchumy; his sibling-in-law Ponnambalam; and his nieces and nephews, Thilagaranee and Gowridevi.
He is survived by: his children, Ram Amarnath (Indianapolis) and Mano Shanmugarajah (New Jersey); his children-in-law, Naleni Amarnath and Nalayini Shanmugarajah; and his grandchildren, Gururaj, Kartik, Shivaraj and Shrinidhi.
