Caren Brown Obituary

The passing of Caren Brown of West Orange, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid adieu to Caren's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Caren has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Brown; her grandsons, David and Michael; her sister Beryl Eber; and her cousins, Bonnie and Shari.

“So many fond memories of Caren, my first yoga teacher. A woman of SO many layers! She cracked me up in a certain pose: she'd tilt her head, smile big, and say "hey sailor." She told a favorite story about a king who asked for a gift of something to make him "happy when he's sad, and sad when he's happy." They gave him a ring engraved, "this too shall pass." I loved Caren even more if poss when I found out she was a librarian. She was witty, pretty, and kind. May her memory be a blessing,”
