We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 82, Sarah Courtney of West New York, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Elisano (DeSocio) and Dominick Elisano. She is survived by: her husband Joseph James Courtney; her brother John Elisano; her sons, Jeffrey Courtney (Natalie Gomez) and Daniel Acosta; her sister Janice Cannao; and her nieces and nephews, John Elisano, Donald, Sylvia Elisano, Ralph, Jessica Elisano, Lewis, Alexa Cannao, Scott, Alina Cannao, Darren, Ruth Cannao, Todd, Katie Cannao and Bernie Courtney.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barquin Funeral Home (7101 Broadway, North Bergen, NJ 07093). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Libera RC Church (5808 John F. Kennedy Blvd, West New York, NJ 07093).
