He was predeceased by: his wife Shamsay Boghdan Habeeb; and his granddaughter Kristen Leary. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Habeeb, Linda Mian, Michael Habeeb, Elaine Viola (John), David Habeeb (Lisa) and Diane Leary-Smagalla. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
