He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara "Bodle" Gunderman; and his siblings, Doris Runion, Joyce Ann Worth, Betty Wielechowski and Tom Gunderman.
He is survived by: his close friend Antoinette Muniz; his brother Edward Gunderman; his children, Robert Gunderman Jr., Melinda Russo and Patty Wood; and his grandchildren, Michael, Bryan, Britney, Chad, Emily, Erica and Jessica. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
