With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew P. Byrnes of West Milford, New Jersey, born in Rockville Centre, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father John Byrnes; and his sister Robin. He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Byrnes; his children, Brendan, Olivia and Ryan; the mother of his children Susan; and his siblings, John and Linda Eiler.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home - West Milford (1440 Union Valley Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (1911 Union Valley Rd, Hewitt, NJ 07421).
