With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Castiglia (West Milford, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fortunata Mary Mezzo and Alexander Frank Mezzo. She is survived by: her children, P. Charles Castiglia II, Robert James Castiglia (Jillian Castiglia) and Alexandra M. Castiglia; her grandchildren, Cameron Clark Castiglia and Nathan James Castiglia; her former husband V. James Castiglia; her pet Oskar; and her siblings, Teresa Boutillette (Michael), Alexander Mezzo (Deborah) and Anthony (Paula). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home (187 La Rue Rd, Newfoundland, NJ 07435). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (5635 Berkshire Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery (5635 Berkshire Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438). A repast was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Portofino's Restaurant (5129 Berkshire Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sparta Ambulance Squad, P.O. Box 246, Sparta, NJ 07871 who was always there for her and treated her like family.
