It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Vandenberg (West Milford, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Berg and Gustave Van Den Berg; and his siblings, Ada May Mahn, Jean Lilman, Darlene Mahn, Gustave Van Den Berg and William Van Den Berg.
He is survived by: his wife Karin of Oak Ridge, NJ; his children, Laura Van Den Berg (Tim), Lisa Rugel (Franz) and Karl Van Den Berg (Amy); and his grandchildren, Jared Cooney, Julia Van Den Berg, Jake Van Den Berg, Matthew Rugel and Carolyn Rugel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
