With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ciffo of West Milford, New Jersey, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on March 1, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Ciffo to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ciffo and Fannie Ciffo of Mary's General Hospital; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Gale Puzio; his children, Carey and Brian; his daughter-in-law Michelle; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Bryce and Emily.

“It has been over 30 years since I had Mr. Ciffo as a Math teacher, but I will always remember the energy and passion that he had for his profession. I will also remember the Krypto game that he brought to the classroom! He has been an influence on me an educator myself and I will always look back and remember the lessons that he taught me and the Class of 1994! Rest in Peace Mr. Ciffo, a great man and teacher!”
