It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Gajewski of West Milford, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Parisi and Emily Parisi (Jacob). She is survived by: her husband Robert Gajewski; her children, Albie Aveta, Christopher Aveta (Catherine) and Lauren Cherney (Matthew); her stepchildren, Robert Gajewski (Donna), Kim Sandak and Lenore Gajewski (Martin); her grandchildren, Brandon DeCosta, Rose Aveta, Christopher Aveta, Timothy Cherney, Isabella Cherney, Savannah Sandak and Michael Gajewski; and her sisters, Mildred Napolitano (Patrick Frasco) and Kathleen Bellino.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holmdel Cemetery.
