With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara E. Murphy of West Milford, New Jersey, whose life came to an end on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Joseph and Ellen Glenna Valentine; and her niece Deborah Hubsmith of Fairfax, CA.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas P. Murphy, Sr.; her children, Thomas Jr., Brian (Lily) and Kathleen; her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" and Mary Lou; her granddaughters, Kyla, Valerie and Ava; and her niece Chris. She is also survived by several cousins; and a grandniece and grandnephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home - West Milford (1440 Union Valley Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (1911 Union Valley Rd, Hewitt, NJ 07421). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (454 Germantown Rd, West Milford, NJ 07480).
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital would be much appreciated.
