She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur G. Sloat; and her parents, Allan H. Smith and Ruth E. Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly (Tim Bagwell) of Brick and Suzie (Christopher Carter); her stepchildren, Carole (Thomas Butler) of Neptune, Donna (Charles Arnold) of Andover, CT and Wayne (Carol Sloat) of Neptune; her sister Evelyn Everett of Garnet Valley, PA; and her grandson Tyler Carter. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either: American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Associated Humane Society of Tinton Fall.
