He was predeceased by: his parents, William Madlung and Joan Madlung; and his sisters, Barbara Tilton and Caroline Madlung. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Luccarelli Madlung; his son Laurence Madlung; his stepchildren, Carolyn Beam and Robert Beam (Melanie); his sister Natalie Stieven (John); his brother-in-law Robert Tilton; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Alex Falco, Andrew, Ellie Beam and Caitlin McCready.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
