He is survived by: his granddaughter Abby; his son John; his siblings, Jack, Helen, Fran and Noreen; his wife Pat; his children, James, Charles, Marie Schmidt and Joseph Roney; his sister Nancy Rooney; his daughter-in-law Susan Roney; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Stanton, Michael and Keller. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
