She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Garvey; and her son-in-law Mario Cardinale. She is survived by: her children, Mary Pat Cardinale, Tom Garvey, Joe Garvey, Eileen Marnell (Nick), Cathy Zimmermann (Carl) and Linda Gustafson (Chris); her grandchildren, Tom Garvey, Daniel Stern Cardinale (Abby), Nicole Dixon (Domenique), Caitlin Mosera (Rick), Joseph Garvey, Michael Cardinale (Allison), Shannon Maylath (Michael), John Garvey (Bridget), Jake Zimmermann, Genevieve Gustafson and Paul Gustafson; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Miles, Nolan, Sela, Juna, Marco, Madelyn, Hayley and Michael.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home (45 Roseland Ave, Roseland, NJ 07068). A Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Aloysius Church (219 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (712 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07043).
