With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael L. Cohen of West Caldwell, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Cohen and David Cohen. He is survived by: his wife Patrice; his children, Robert Cohen, Jackie Michalski (Mike) and Tracey Meyer (Brendan); his stepdaughters, Kyla McDonald (Miles), Marisa Love (Trey) and Kara Robertiello (Mike); his sister Linda Davidson (Craig); his nephew Jason Davidson (Ali); his niece Angie Davidson; and his grandchildren, James, Jocelyn, McKenna, Cameron, Christian, Teddy and Isla. He is also survived by his family, friends.
He also volunteered as treasurer of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, to give scholarships to the children of special ops soldiers killed in action. Lastly, he was chairman of the Cohn Reznick Foundation to raise money for the Joe Torre Foundation for abused families.
