She is survived by: her parent Mary Richard; her siblings, Mary Camilleri, Agnus Gamba, Henry Richard, Eugene Richard, George Richard and Michael "Mickey" Richard; and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Jones and Gerald Jones. She is also survived by pets including a cat, 4 dogs.
Joan was an animal lover, who frequently sent donations to the ASPCA.
