With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Del Prete Jr. (West Caldwell, New Jersey), who passed away on April 13, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert J. Del Prete and Marietta Krannich. He is survived by: his significant other Charles Tubbs; his granddaughters, Lauren Cilento (Steven), Denise Eck (Nicholas) and Amy Ottaino (Anthony); and his sister-in-law Frances Del Prete.

Frank was a major figure in the rearing of his three granddaughters and was known to them as their "Papa-Daddy." In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research: St. Baldrick's Foundation, 1333 S. Mayflower Ave., Suite 400, Monrovia, Calif. 91016.
