He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Vicari; and his parents, Gaetano Vicari and Mary Vicari. He is survived by: his children, Michele Vicari, Guy Vicari (Diana) and Mary Ann Garthwaite (Robert); and his grandchildren, Tracy Marateo, Robert Garthwaite, III, Cari Ann Gingerelli, Ryan Garthwaite, Carmen Vicari and Ariana Vicari. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
