With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Irene Berdela of West Caldwell, New Jersey, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on July 27, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Paul Berdela; and her brother George Piche, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Edmund "Ed" Berdela; her children, Glenn Berdela (Joan), Jim Berdela (Patricia) and Susan Sahler (Brad); her grandchildren, Lacey Astrella (Christopher), Glenn Berdela, Jr. (Julia), Michael Berdela, Christina Kamin (Jason), Michele Thibodeau (Mark), Sara Berdela (Michael Palantone), Brandon Sahler and Sabrina Sahler; and her great grandchildren, Mia, Deacon Berdela, Adaline, Emilia Kamin, Katherine Thibodeau and Claire Astrella.
In her memory, donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Gift Funds: Betty Berdela – Gift Funds for St. Jude (stjude.org)) would be greatly appreciated.
