It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael G. Stanzione (Weehawken, New Jersey), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Stanzione (Stecky); his parents, Michael Stanzione and Matilda Stanzione; his daughters, Martine Lugo (Giovanni Lugo) and Lisette Fleming (Ryan Fleming); his grandchildren, Michael, Jayden, Layla, Marcello and Nina Elliot (Fleming); his sister Laura Roefaro; his sons, John Roefaro (Kathy), Jason Roefaro (Rose) and George Roefaro; his sister-in-law Joyce Linhart; his nieces and nephews, William and Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Stecky (Michelle) and Laurie Evans (Vincent). He was also cherished by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Lawrence RC Church (22 Hackensack Ave, Weehawken Township, NJ 07086). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of choice in his memory.
