He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Mary Mackey (Garrity); and his brothers, Bill, Tom, George, Charlie, Arnold, Arthur and Donald Mackey.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Mackey (Miller); his children, Robert Mackey, Jr., Brian Mackey (Andrew Riccardi), Bonnie Dekmar (David) and Beth Kovalcik (Dennis); his grandchildren, Robert Mackey, III, David Dekmar, Jr., Darren Miller, Catherine Beveridge, Brandon Mackey, Ryan Dekmar, Nicholas and Abigail Kovalcik; his siblings, Gloria Criger, Lillian Morgan, Frank Mackey (Noreen) and Douglas Mackey; and his siblings-in-law, Emil Miller and Edith. He is also survived by seven loving great-grandchildren.
