“It has been several years. We referred to him as "Mr. Ray". My Dad and Ray worked together for years and I would definitely call them good friends. As time went on jobs changed and they went their separate ways. They stayed in touch for a while but eventually they lost touch. I'm not sure why. I always hoped that they would regain their friendship. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. I am so sorry. “I worked with Ray for 5 years at MetLife Stadium. If it wasn’t for Ray I would not have lasted as long as I did there. Ray was a pleasure to be around and work with. I looked forward to his warm smile, quick wit, words of wisdom, and stories of his family. Even after I left Ray would often text me checking on my family & I. The pandemic robbed us of a chance to get together one last time and I will always regret that. I’ll see you another day Ray. It was a privilege to be your friend. -Kevin C”
