She was predeceased by: her husband George R. Merritt; and her brother Charles Nazzaro. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne G. Merritt (Mona) of Greensboro, NC and Bryan J. Merritt (Maximina) of Kearny; her grandchildren, Laura Merritt, Christina Castillo (Sergio), Jessica Aguirre (Mitchell), Nicolas Merritt, Racquel Garcia (Hector), Dylan Merritt, Anibal O. Rodriguez "Chino" (Melissa Rivera), Lissette N. Pedrieras (Mark) and Michael A. Rodriguez (Marci); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, James, Mia, Annabelle, Ayden, Mason, Ethan, Ian and Miley.
