He was predeceased by: his son Matthew J. Dox (Patricia) of Wayne; his sister Marie Owens; and his parents, Matthew Dox and Marie Dox. He is survived by: his wife Margaret E. "Marge" Dox of Wayne; his son Michael Dox (Linda) of Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Matthew Jr. (Jenn), Meghan Sims (Ryan), Katie and Michael Jr. Adoring; and his great grandchildren, Addie and Blakely Sims. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
