He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Blewitt and Jean Blewitt (O'Connell); his wife Patricia; his sons, Patrick of Steamburg, NY and Nicholas of Wayne; his godson Dominic; and his siblings, Katie (Blase) of Wayne, Joseph (Racie) of Siesta Key, FL, Maureen (Rick) of Caldwell, Michael (Christina) of East Patchogue, NY, Laura (Tom) of Syracuse, NY, Daniel (Ofie) of Lincoln Park, Ellen (Jim) of Maryland, Virginia (Ed) of St. Louis, MO, Mary Anne (Chuck) of Pompton Plains and Christine (Tony) of Wayne. He was also cherished by thirty nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home (567 Ratzer Rd, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
