He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Krause; and his sister Catherine Szap. He is survived by: his brother Richard of British Columbia; his daughters, Julia (David), Lisa (John) and Elizabeth (John); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Alexander, Penelope and August. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
