He is survived by: his wife Janet Thoma (Thoma) of Wayne; his daughters, Elizabeth Higgins (Mathieu Vialle) of Jersey City, NJ and Katherine Dobrowski (John) of Duxbury, MA; his siblings, Mary Higgins of Florham Park, NJ, John Higgins (Suzanne) of Parsippany, NJ and Margaret Lovello (Alan) of Bridgewater, NJ; and his grandsons, Jules Vialle and Henry Dobrowski.
