He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Colavita and Anna Colavita (Paterson); and his brothers-in-law, Henry DeVito, Jr. and Thomas Donohue. He is survived by: his wife Angela Colavita (DeVito); his children, Michael Colavita (Stephanie) of Caldwell, NJ, Christine Hawn (Thomas) of Falls Church, VA and Melissa Escudero (Michael) of Tega Cay, SC; his grandchildren, Ethan Hawn, Peter Escudero, Sophia Escudero, Marie Colavita and Caitlyn Colavita; and his sisters, Barbara Donohue of Doylestown, PA and Marlene DeGennaro.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church (219 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006).
